The hood itself is custom fit to sit on the inside lip of the aquarium frame, which greatly reduces water loss caused by constant evaporation as well as giving fishkeepers a peace of mind knowing that even the most athletic of fish won't be able to jump out of the aquarium. The Aqueon Deluxe Full Fluorescent Hood features two full-length front facing doors that provide roomy access to the interior of the tank and cut-out section in the rear allows for the hassle free installation of various equipment such as heaters, power filters and other popular accessories. A powerful T8 Lamp and splash guard is included. The unit comes in a sleek black color and is suitable for aquarium sizes 15 gallon standard, 20 gallon high, 30 gallon extra high, 33 gallon long, 40 gallon long and 55 gallon standard.
