Betta Duo
The Aqua One Betta Duo has a unique duo cavity that is ideal for housing multiple betta fish, and includes an integrated filtration system and energy efficient LED lighting fixture to get you started. It is the perfect starter tank for beginners, or new project for hobbyists!
The Betta Duo is 5.3 gallons, and has been constructed with two compartments that are conveniently split by a built-in, vented separator, to ensure proper water flow and filtration. This feature allows you to house two different bettas or other small fish, and create multiple scenes in one aquarium. This aquarium kit also features a bright, energy-efficient LED lighting system, which includes both white and RGB bulbs.With 36 energy-efficient LEDs, 24 RGB and 12 white, it provides more that enough light to keep your fish and live plants happy and healthy! With the simple dual mode, on/off switch you can easily and quickly enhance the colors of your fish to be brighter and more intense!
To maintain the sleek, modern appearance of the Betta Duo, it features a fully integrated, 3-step filtration system (biological, mechanical and chemical). The system is strong enough to keep both compartments clean, clear, and healthy for your new pet, making the maintenance of multiple fish that much easier!
3 Stages of Filtration
Step 1: Mechanical Filtration - The filter sponge combines both mechanical and biological filtration by capturing particulate matter from the water as well as providing a surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow on.
Step 2: Biological Filtration - The ceramic media cartridge uses spherical ceramic media that has a very high surface area, to facilitate the growth of beneficial bacteria, to break down waste in aquarium water.
Step 3: Chemical Filtration - The carbon cartridge combines a fine wool pad for removing fine particles from the water, with activated carbon for removing organic waste.
